Technical ownership of products in production

  • At Webel I run all of web: the B2C app thousands of people use every day, the B2B platform, the internal dashboard, SEO, email, and the shared library.

  • At AuroraJobs I built the whole application in Rails and mentored and coordinated a team of two developers.

Webel and AuroraJobs

AuroraJobs gave me my full-stack foundation and a two-developer team to coordinate. At Webel I run the whole web area and the architecture its products share.

    Responsible for the web platform

    I am responsible for all of Webel's web: the B2C app, the B2B platform behind company profiles, the internal dashboard, SEO, email, and the component library the three products share.

    Evidence

    • The B2C app is used by thousands of people a day. I migrated its marketplace from Angular to React.
    • The company profiles working on the B2B platform generate close to 25% of GMV, over €500k a year.
    • I extracted the design system into a library shared by B2C, B2B, and the dashboard, and moved email to React Email.

    AuroraJobs

    Full-Stack Software Engineer

    I was responsible for the application end to end, in a Ruby on Rails monolith, working with the CTO and Product from defining each feature through to delivery.

    Evidence

    • Ranked candidate panels for employers, dynamic filters and forms for students, and an internal dashboard to configure both.
    • Backend, frontend, data modelling, testing, deployments, and the product's infrastructure.
    • I mentored, coordinated, and managed a team of two developers: one junior and one mid.

Two products, two kinds of ownership

Each case covers the problem, the part I owned, two or three decisions, and what changed afterwards.

Problem
Three web applications with different users, each from a different era of the product and with little in common.
My contribution
Ownership of the whole web platform: the three applications, their shared architecture, and the migrations.

Problem
Students looking for a first job and companies hiring junior profiles don't find each other on general job boards.
My contribution
Full-stack build of the whole product, plus coordination of a two-developer team.

How I work with agents

  1. 01

    Define the problem

    I work out who it is for, what needs to change, and the smallest solution worth building. I write down scope, constraints, and acceptance criteria.

  2. 02

    Set up the work

    I split implementation into reviewable parts and give each agent the context it needs. Reusable skills and design-system docs keep technical decisions from getting lost between tasks.

  3. 03

    Review and validate

    I review the code, tests, and outcome against the specification. When a choice affects the product or architecture, I make it and update the context before work continues.

Prototypes and utilities I build on my own initiative. Each one tests a specific idea and states where it actually stands, without posing as paid work.
